Now this should update the roster updates. But unfortunately EA have been very sly and have deliberately excluded latest most recent transfer updates! So even if you do update the rosters through the download option you'll still not have for example Lukaku in United, Lacazette in Arsenal, etc. For that you can manually do so through the club transfer. But this will only work offline and will sadly reset itself back to default every week or so.

All it has done is removed retired players from the game like Xabi Alonso. So all these manual transfers will also reset back and have to be done manually again each and every single time!
